Anant was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. After moving often during his initial years, his family finally relocated to Morgantown, West Virginia. After high school, he attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from The Wharton School of Business. After a successful career in the nonprofit world, he shifted gears and began a life in the insurance world, getting his insurance license and start with the local Geico office in Morgantown. He started at the bottom as a dialer then moved his way up the ranks as a sales agent, top sales agent, then Office Manager. He eventually became Business Manager for both the offices in Morgantown and Charleston, West Virginia. In 2018, he was driven by his boss and mentor to open his own office and in May of 2019, he started Geico Winston-Salem which quickly became the fastest growing insurance agency in the state.

Not only did Anant find success in insurance but he also found success in his personal life as he married the girl of his dreams, Richa Talwar, in 2020 and have been happily married ever since. They have one four-legged feline child, Oliver Wendell, and the three currently reside in Burlington, NC.

Anant was urged by his former boss, Jim Robinson, to join Rotary while in Morgantown as a corporate member in 2018. While there, he quickly fell in love with the service and fellowship side while building a solid business network. In 2019 when he moved to Winston-Salem to start his own insurance agency, his first priority was to find a local Rotary club to transfer to and for networking purposes. His first visit was to the Rotary Club of Western Forsyth and his search was over. In his short time, he has served his club in roles such as Treasurer, Vice President and President.

Anant also serves on the district level as a member of the Foundation and Finance committees, on the Membership Committee as Attraction Chair and MAP Ambassador, and additionally as Area 4 Assistant Governor. Anant is also an RLI graduate, a Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society Member, Benefactor, and most recently a Bequest Society Member. He is very proud to be a member of the Polio Plus Promise club. In his free time Anant enjoys any and all sports, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends.
