National Opportunities
Rotary Foundation
Transforming generosity into global impact, The Rotary Foundation empowers Rotarians to do good in the world.
The Rotary Foundation helps clubs and districts turn visions into action by funding humanitarian projects, educational programs, scholarships, and peace initiatives. With a focus on sustainable solutions in health, education, environment, and poverty, the Foundation supports efforts to eradicate disease (like polio), build peace, and elevate communities worldwide.
Coins for Alzheimer's Research Trust CART
The CART Fund provides funds for cutting edge research to cure Alzheimer’s disease. CART started in 1996 with Rotarians voluntarily emptying their pockets and purses of change at weekly meetings.
One hundred percent (100%) of donated funds go to cutting edge Alzheimer’s disease research.
End Polio Now:
The Best Chance to Eradicate Polio is Now
Poliomyelitis is a highly infectious disease that most commonly affects children under the age of 5. Most know it as poliovirus.
The virus is spread person to person, typically through contaminated water. It can attack the nervous system, and in some instances, lead to paralysis.
Although there is no cure, there is a safe and effective vaccine – one which Rotary and our partners use to immunize over 2.5 billion children worldwide.
