RYLA7690 - Students

"Congrats! You've been selected for RYLA—What's that?"

Ryla Conference

RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is a four-day conference that will bring you rewards you never knew you could achieve. It will challenge you to make great new friends, learn to be a fantastic leader, and help you develop skills for all types of situations during your next steps in life.

Our Goal

Our goal is to have an amazing four days challenging you to think outside of the box and grow into a leader you didn't realize you could be. We want to have a BLAST too while we do this. We like to hang out, listen to music, goof off, eat tons of great food and play games in our down time. Our staff knows you are teens and want some downtime. We don't expect you to be "on" every minute. This is summer ~ NOT SCHOOL. We want a break and to goof off too!

Leadership Skills

Besides having a great time, you will create or renew friendships and relationships with like-minded students as you learn key skills in Networking, Resolving Conflict, Leadership, Teamwork, and Community Service. In addition to this, prospective employers like to see evidence of leadership skills and willingness to pursue growth. RYLA might help you land your dream job! Plus, it looks great on a college application as well!

All We Want From You

All we ask is you come with an open mind. Our fantastic staff will do the rest. Make sure you read over the What to Bring List and the sample program so you have a basic idea of what is headed your way.

We will see you in June!
