District 7690 recently gathered in the Imperial Room at the Koury Convention Center to celebrate The Rotary Foundation. The event featured keynote speaker, Larry Lunsford, the 2027-2028 Rotary International President. The event celebrated our clubs’ and members’ generous contributions to our Rotary Foundation and all the service work we do locally and abroad.
In addition to a delicious dinner, and plenty of time for fellowship, the event committee worked hard to plan many exciting events. The highlight was Rivals for Rotary, in which four esteemed Rotarians, RIPN Larry Lunsford, RID Patrick Eakes, DG Mark Brandon and DGN Anant Venkataraman begrudgingly agreed to wear their rival’s jerseys if they raised the most money.
