Rotary Means Business District 7690 for Central North Carolina encourages Rotarians to support the success of their fellow Rotarians by doing business with them, and by referring other to them. Today Rotarians are embracing the original foundations of what the Rotary club was based on as we adhere to the Four Way Test. RMB provides a structure to bring business relationships back into Rotary in a way that supplements rather than competes with the service and fellowship aspects of Rotary.

When we are able to provide opportunities to strengthen the businesses represented at Rotary, our members will be stronger creating stronger clubs.

Stronger clubs automatically mean Rotary itself is stronger, The Rotary Foundation is stronger, and therefore we are able to do more to make our communities stronger.

Rotary & Business
Rotary promotes ethical leadership, professional success and friendship through service in our community and around the world. Established in 1905 by a small group of businessmen, Rotary encourages and fosters the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Today, there are over 35,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide with 1.2 million men and women comprising of business leaders, community leaders, captains of industry, politicians – all the movers and shakers.

Rotary Means Business carries forward these traditions and values by delivering a high-level platform focused on building relationships and growing business while adhering to The Four-Way Test.

RMB encourages Rotarians to support the success of other Rotarians by doing business with their fellow Rotarians and by referring others to them.

When District 7690 reached out to other Rotarians, we discovered everyone shared the desire to have a method to connect with business professionals within the district.

How RMB Works

Rotarians are encouraged to visit RMB meetings in other regions to further expand their network and the value of RMB.

There will be be one or more district-wide events each year.

There is a variety of activities and meeting structures that can be considered. We are looking for District RMB Ambassadors for each of our regions.

Each region is encouraged to arrange an evening cocktail/social/networking/RMB meeting on a regular basis. These events are typically held at Rotary members businesses around the district. And, Rotarians are encouraged to visit RMB meetings in other regions to further expand their network and the value of RMB.

There are a variety of activities and meeting structures that can be considered to ensure success. And, RMB meetings can be considered as a Rotary meeting-makeup event!
