END POLIO – Since 1987 Rotary International has played a leading roll in funding and publicizing the eradication of polio world wide. Now there are only two endemic countries (Afghanistan and Pakistan). Rotary International, partnering with the Gates Foundation are committed to polio’s eradication. Doing their part, members of the Colleyville Rotary Club have hosted annual Pedaling for Polio events to raise funds and awareness that the disease still exists and is a danger to us all as long as the disease exists anywhere in the world. “When we do things together, we can do so much more”
